چکیده

Hall County is located in Northeast Georgia and encompasses 392 square miles and a population of approximately 113,000. Gainesville, the county seat, is situated 52 miles northeast of Atlanta. The County is home to Lake Sidney Lanier, a 38.000-acre lake built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The 607-mile shoreline provides recreational activities for over 16 million visitors annually and is of vital economic importance to the area. Lake Lanier served as the canoeisprint kayak site for the 1996 Summer Olympics.
